A different perspective

In the middle of June, while we were off site, construction of the scaffolding was completed. To do this, Calum had to hire a cherry picker to put the scaffolding roof on. This allowed him to take some fantastic shots of our foundations from above.

And here is a view of the completed scaffolding ‘tent’. Though it has now grown to cover the ‘Peerie Hoose’ as well, as you’ll see in some of the upcoming posts.

  1. Great shots! But looks as if the walls will take up more space than the living area – where will you fit in?!! ……… no need to reply – I know the foundations have to be wider than the width of the walls (hopefully!) 😀 . Looking forward to more details. xx

    • Yes, we were a bit surprised at the footprint of the foundations, too. But you’re right that they’re wider than the walls and it does look like there will be space for us now that the walls are going up. 😉
